Does Anybody Remember Michael Landon?

I know Landon never was on M*A*S*H, therefore seeming off topic, but I would just like to know what thoughts yall have on the man. I am without doubt you'all have heard of him. . .(Bonanza, Little House On The Prairie, Highway To Heaven, ect.)

I remember Michael Landon with great fondness. He was a sensational dramatic actor. I always had difficulty watching "Highway to Heaven" though. That character seemed so out of character for him. I was accustomed to him being a "western" kind of guy. I was very saddened when he passed away.

I certainly remember him. Little House on the Prairie was one of my Mom's favorites and later my wife's favorite. I also watched Highway to Heaven a lot.

I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie (along with MASH, the Waltons and other shows in the 70s and 80s) and I thought he was the greatest TV father figure. There were many moving episodes in which he featured and he just came across as a truly kind, humble and caring human being. I like to think that the character Charles Ingles was not far from the true Michael Landon.

I watched Highway To Heaven all the time. Something about the great comradery between Victor French and Michael Landon was great. Both of them passing as result of cancer from drinking/smoking heavily their whole lives is upsetting.

Yes, I too have a deep respect for the man, GeorgiaGirl. These old shows are 100% better than the new garbage.

Is she still on the board, do you know? I read something about her trolling. Sorry to bring it up. I think she's gone though.
