Charles and Frank

If Charles and Frank had met how do you see Charles reacting to him or vice versa? I'm sure this has been asked before but i didn't see it on any topics going back.

I can see Frank being a MAJOR suck up to Charles, in hopes of getting something from him.

Charles would try to avoid Frank like the plague. A hayseed from Indiana, hack doctor, new money (if Frank really has any money)- there is nothing that Charles would find appealing!

And I cannot help but think of the actor Charles Frank who appeared in two episodes of the series.

Both loved money. Both were very egotistical although Charles did show that he was capable of being humble at times as his character was further developed and fleshed out.

I suspect Frank and Charles would have butted heads. Like Mulcahy once said about Charles & Potter during the bridge game "Their egos canceled each other out." I suspect that's what would have gone down between Winchester & Burns.

Frank would attempt to align himself with Charles in hopes of having a friendship and influence. I don't see that coming together as Charles was underneath the attitude a caring, thoughtful, kind human being something Frank had difficulty appreciating.

Charles, Hawkeye, and BJ might find a common enemy in Frank. This could provide a bonding opportunity for them.

Yes, Frank would have ended up having to bond with another person in camp to deal with Hawk, B.J., and Charles coming together. Father Mulcahy was the only one in camp Frank liked other than Margaret. I could see a lot of humor out of Frank being friends with the good father.
