Why didn't Hawkeye and B.J. make that Colonel think he had some condition that required a lot of testing to diagnose? Or get him to think he needed psychiatric evaluation? Not a fan of this episode as i feel Hawk could've come up with a smarter solution to the problem.

This is one of the episodes I tend to skip. I never really bought that Hawkeye would do what he did. Plus, this seemed to be a recycled storyline - working to get rid of a bad combat officer. I liked the way Hawkeye and Trapper got rid of the Leslie Nielsen character in one of the earlier seasons.

Agreed, this did seem out of character for Hawkeye. I always hate it when he and B.J. fight!
