Chapter 23: Radar Visits Watergate, or Rest in Peace Deputy Victor Bloodworth
RADAR'S victory in the 1973 re-election primary was kinda nerve racking on him. So he took a small vacation to kinda relax, but one night as was turning in, he saw lights coming from the NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY HEADQUARTERS BUILDING. Realizing that it was a burglary, RADAR called the D.C. METRO SQUAD to investigate. Soon they arrived, & with RADAR'S help they began making a lot of arrests, including the ringleader G. GORDON LIDDY.
Soon word got to the news media, which worried the mastermind of the whole conspiracy of the burglary, namely RICHARD M. NIXON!!! Once word of the burglary became widespread internationally, CARLO GAMBINO saw an opportunity to reek vengeance on RADAR for the 1957 shootings of MARIO BANDUCCI and NICHOLAS STIVIC. The plan was to have FRANK BURNS (now the sheriff of neighboring CASS COUNTY for the past few years) go into ITASCA COUNTY and start making arrests, even if the folks placed under arrest had not committed any kind of crime, or crimes.
This did not worry FRANK BURNS because he did not care about the U.S CONSTITUTION, THE BILL OF RIGHTS, or even lawsuits of harassment of citizens, which would be filed against him and JUDGE JUDAS STEDMAN and the people of CASS COUNTY later on, because he was (according his words) upholding the law in his own crooked way, which in itself was fashioned by JUDGE JUDAS STEDMAN of CASS COUNTY, MINNESOTA. Most of the arrested were ladies whom were rounded up from ITASCA COUNTY'S hippy communes. Now once the last of these ladies were arrested (in the name of the law as FRANK BURNS put it) both CARLO GAMBINO and JUDGE JUDAS STEDMAN saw an opportunity to get in on the black market wig racket. Once RADAR got wind of the goings-on that occurred while he helped out in filing the arrest reports of the WATERGATE burglars, well, he knew that an all-out assault on CASS COUNTY itself was the only answer to rescue those ladies trapped in the IDA LUPINO WOMEN'S CORRECTIONAL JAIL, which JUDGE JUDAS STEDMAN had built years ago after seeing Miss LUPINO'S 1955 b&w b-movie drama entitled "WOMEN'S PRISON" in which LUPINO recreated the role of an actual prison warden from the women's sector of the federal prison called SING SING. The warden's name was the same as LUPINO'S character in the film, namely MISS VAN ZANDT!!!
As a matter of fact te real MISS VAN ZANDT was now a prisoner at this correctional institution, but JUDGE JUDAS STEDMAN made MISS VAN ZANDT the kind of a prisoner called a trustee. So with the aide of former SAN FRANCISCO P.D. officer BOB FALFA, RADAR was able to organize the raid that would eventually end the tyranny caused by BURNS and STEDMAN, but only temporarily because since the USDA wiped out most of the hog cholera in the U.S.A. in 1971, but somehow a few vials containing bacteria for the disease were swiped from the CENTER for COMMUNICABLE DISEASES in ATLANTA, GEORGIA, and then transported in secrecy to CASS COUNTY where it was mass produced into larger quantities to be used to force GOMEZ ADDAMS out of the wholesale pork business. All that STEDMAN had to do once in a while was to, more or less, send FRANK BURNS and his deputies into ITASCA COUNTY and they'd shoot up the local stockyards leaving a lot of hogs bleeding on the stockyards property. Then FRANK BURNS would flash confiscation warrants for the hogs that he and his deputies shot down dead each and every time. Then the dead hogs were transported to a special area where special experts would inject the dead hogs with the hog cholera bacteria, which STEDMAN's secret laboratory had mass produced in great quantities so that it would appear as if FRANK BURNS and his deputies were within the law when it came to the shooting of those hogs.
So after BOB FALFA did his reconnaissance work he reported back to RADAR, & said "All's quiet in CASS COUNTY". That meant that it was safe to go ahead with the raid on the LUPINO JAIL. First of all FALFA created a few good diversionary distractions for FRANK BURNS and his deputies to keep them out of the way for at least 12-18hrs. altogether!? Then using the tactics of the famous British commando raids of WW2 as organized by the late IAN FLEMING, well, RADAR & his followers attacked the prison beginning with the lookout towers. Once the guards were taken out some of the ITASCA COUNTY deputies under RADAR'S command began scaling the walls. Then they opened the gates & RADAR & the others poured into the prison just like, the GREEKS at the battle of TROY. Soon it was an all out battle as the guards with their .38 caliber MARLIN POLICE SERVICE revolvers were shot down dead one-by-one because their ammo was no match for the hollowed out point .45 caliber ammo fired from the circa 1873 COLT PEACEMAKER revolvers of RADAR & his deputies.
Soon the female prisoners were freed from the IDA LUPINO WOMEN'S CORRECTIONAL JAIL, and by the time FRANK BURNS and JUDGE JUDAS STEDMAN learned of what happened seeing as how none of the guards survived from their wounds inflicted on them during the raid. The only prisoner left behind was MISS VAN ZANDT, and RADAR himself had crippled her for life!!! MSS VAN ZANDT would die from her wounds around 1975. 20yrs. later after MISS VAN ZANDT's death cancer would claim the life of actress IDA LUPINO, but for now things seemed quieter, even in ITASCA COUNTY seeing as how the only casualty from the ITASCA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT was a former U.S. ARMY COLONEL from the KOREAN WAR named VICTOR BLOODWORTH whom joined RADAR'S deputies after losing his own job as a patrolman with the DULUTH P.D. METRO SQUAD in 1959. While in the ARMY BLOODWORTH was once referred to as the GRIM REAPER by HAWKEYE PIERCE. BLOODWORTH even threatened HAWKEYE with a court-martial and a dishonorable discharge until HILL 403 collapsed on BLOODWORTH during his 3RD attack upon it. So after he'd arrived at the 4077TH with his causalities he had sworn that while on the bus transporting the wounded that he'd heard the death rattle. Later after he came out of the knockout gas in post-op he decided that HAWKEYE was far valuable to the ARMY MEDICAL CORPS, & he decided to drop the charges after getting a fair-sized chewing out from good ol' SHERMAN T. POTTER! But now VICTOR BLOODWORTH was stretched out in a fine Mahogany casket in the VETERANS ROOM at the GATEMAN, GOODBURY, & GRAVES FUNERAL PARLOR. The supervising undertaker was HERMAN MUNSTER, whose son EDWARD WOLFGANG MUNSTER aka EDDIE MUNSTER was a gunnery SGT. with PLATOON 13A of the 2ND BATTALION of the 2ND DIVISION of the 5TH SPECIAL FORCES GROUP of the U.S. ARMY, GREEN BERETS!!!!!
