"You're so rude!"

"Geez, Margaret! Stop! I'm sorry! Really! Please stop!" He laughed as he choked out the words.

Reluctantly she ceased slapping him, but smiled mischievously.

"Oh no...what now? The firing squad?"

Margaret swiftly pushed him back onto her cot, pinning him down. She smirked triumphantly, as he tried to move. "Oh, I don't think so mister! First you better say you're sorry..."

"I already did," Hawkeye said, trying to squirm free.

"Say it again, like you mean it."

"I'm sorry like I mean it."

"And you have to buy me something...to pay for the damages to my feelings." Margaret thought for a moment. "Hmm...oh yes. A bottle of shampoo. The expensive kind with the eucalyptus in it."

Pierce gave up on trying to free himself, and made a face. "Geez, do I look like Rockefeller to you? Besides, that stuff smells."

She stared into his eyes, determined to have her way. "You have to pay for what you said to me."

He sighed. "Alright...but I'll need three days in Tokyo."

"Like you don't know how to finangle that," she scoffed.

Smiling at her he assured her that he would pay up. "Can I get up now please?"

"I suppose so." Margaret smiled, kissed his forehead lightly, and got off of him.

He sat up, shaking his head and grinning at her. "You're a pain you know that?"

"It takes one to know one," she retorted.

"Oh, ha ha." Pierce stood up and ran his fingers through his hair.

"You're leaving?"

"Unless theres room..." He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

"You're leaving." Margaret gently took him by the arm and led him to her door.

"Party pooper." Pierce smiled at her.

She sighed. "You have Post Op tomorrow morning, you'd better get some sleep."

"Oh yes, a lovely way to start the day in beautiful Korea," he shrugged, "But at least you'll be there."

Margaret smiled. "Goodnight Hawkeye."

"Goodnight Margaret," he put his hand on the doorknob, but turned back to her. He pulled her close, kissing her passionately. Margaret put her arms around him, kissing him back. Pierce pulled away as Margaret opened her eyes. "Goodnight...again," he smiled, turning away.

"Yes...goodnight," she said almost breathless.

He opened the door and left, walking out into the chilly night.

The end...well, for now anyway! The next story will continue from here...whenever I start typing that one up...
